Here it goes, my first Blog post.  I have had a slow go at getting my website running.  Also, having a difficult time figuring out what its roll and purpose should be in my musical career. After all, I have a very specific understanding of my existence and the skills that I’ve developed over the past several years.

I think I want my first Blog post to be a mission statement. If you are reading this then I will assume you have viewed the rest of my website.  My Bio, and my story.  So it shouldn’t be a surprise when I say I am an addict In Recovery.   I’ve spent a lot of time, from my teenage years to my mid 20’s, in denial. The depth of this will be an ongoing exploration through my Blog.  I’ve come to learn that addictions can be very difficult to understand and hard to navigate.

So, that being said, My Mission statement is to document my struggle in Recovering from addiction; to be truthful and forthcoming; to allow an ongoing discussion about addiction and mental health and to help the still struggling addict. This Blog’s primary purpose is to bring Hope and my hard earned knowledge to aid in the epidemic of addiction.  Specifically Food, and Sex addiction.

I am not a doctor, I am not a professional. I am an addict who is in recovery and promise to seek recovery till I die. Once you’re an addict you are always an addict.

Although I am many things, I must put my Addiction first. It’s the first thing that will bring me down every day, so it must be a priority.  Through Love from my Higher Power, and committing to bring hope to the world I will be a stronger version of myself.

This is just the beginning.  My music is a reflection of me, and this blog will get below the surface.

Now, if you made it to the end of this Blog entry, here is some exciting news. My debut album will be released to the world online December 9th, 2017.  It has been many years in the making, and it’s the first thing I worked on after recovering my Voice.  I had a lesion on my Left vocal fold which had to be surgically removed (much more to come on that later).

The album “In These Shoes” will be available on my site as well.

This is another small step for me, thanks for reading.

Peace & Love

NAMASTE
